Glenelg Country School in Howard County, MD seeks an Upper School Humanities educator for the 2024-2025 school year. The Humanities Department is a multi-disciplinary department that integrates literature, art, and cultural and social history in double-period sections, and the position will include a combination of core classes across grade levels. The years ahead will continue the department’s adoption of non-Western texts, art, and perspectives as it moves beyond the horizons of its traditional curriculum. The successful candidate will bring to GCS a love of working with adolescents and the ability to differentiate instruction among a wide range of learners with appropriate educational technologies.
