Glenelg Country School seeks an Upper School Science Teacher to teach Biology and several upper-level electives for the 2023-2024 school year. This position may include the opportunity to teach A.P. Biology and lead the department for the foreseeable future as chair, so experienced teachers with demonstrated experience in grades 9-12 who are eager to collaborate and support colleagues in their teaching and curriculum development are encouraged to apply. A demonstrated understanding of best practices in science teaching will be essential, and the successful candidate will be comfortable teaching a wide range of learners, differentiating instruction and integrating digital technologies. Experience in teaching Anatomy and/or Forensics will be advantageous. A love of working with adolescents in and out of the classroom and a desire to play a significant role in the life of a school are essential.
