Begley’s Lacrosse Camp

Coach Begley’s Lacrosse camps are geared toward players looking to improve their lacrosse skills, have fun, and become a better teammates! At the beginning of each week, campers will be placed on a team with a coach. Each team will be put in a division based on grade levels, 2nd to 3rd, 4th to 5th, or 6th to 8th. Every day campers will work on lacrosse fundamentals and participate in daily competitions for prizes. The teams will play two morning games and two afternoon games against the other teams in their division.

Head Coach Bio
Coach Mike Begley is currently the head lacrosse coach for Glenelg Country School after previously coaching at Bullis School (Varsity Defensive Coordinator and JV Head Coach) and Sherwood High School (Offensive Coordinator). Coach Begley is also the Head Coach and Director of the Laytonsville Hippos and has also worked with the following Clubs: East Side Lacrosse Club (Coach and Recruiting Director), MDX Lacrosse Club, Back Country Lacrosse Club (Vail, CO), Vail Lacrosse Club (Vail, CO). Coach Begley played five years MLL Pro for the New York Lizards, Atlanta Blaze, Boston Cannons, and Ohio Machine. He played collegiately at Marist College being named an NCAA D1 All American, two-time First Team All-Conference midfielder, and was on the Tewaaraton Watch List. He started his Lacrosse career at Sherwood High School where he was an All American, Montgomery County Player of the Year, and Washington Post First Team All-Met.
