Reports To: Director of Summer Programs
Position Summary:
Glenelg Country School seeks various pool staff, including part-time lifeguards, swim lesson instructors/aides, and pool operators for the 2024 summer season. Glenelg Country School’s Summer Programs serve over 600 families each summer.
Typical Education and Experience:
The qualifications include a desire to work in a fun, fast-paced, child-friendly environment and the ability to work well as part of a team. Strong swimming skills and previous experience working in a pool environment are preferred but not required. A current lifeguard certification and/or pool operator certification is preferred but not required. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
Administration:
All prospective employees must be able to clear background checks, as required by the State of Maryland.

Glenelg country school will pay for lifeguard certification and pool operator certification should you accept employment for the entire duration of the 2024 pool season and work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
