Glenelg Country School is a true country day school, bringing the character-building aspects of the best college preparatory schools to Howard County. To further support our students and their families, we offer a variety of services and programs to better enhance the education experience.
As of March 2022, morning bus service was re-established for children in Pre-K through Grade 12. If a sufficient number of families register for bus service for the 2022-2023 academic year, it will be offered. However, at this time bus service cannot be guaranteed.
As a convenience to our families, Glenelg Country School has partnered with “Yay Lunch” to provide lunch service for our students Monday through Thursday. Yay Lunch is a program that works with local restaurants to curate a menu suitable for our students. Fresh-packed lunches are delivered directly to the school. Parents place lunch orders for each week or up to a month in advance and select from a variety of options each day. The cost ranges from approximately $5 to $15 per day, depending upon the item, size, and add-ons.
We understand the demands of working adults. Our Extended Day programs provide a supportive and safe environment for your child to learn, explore, share, create, and play while you’re at the office. Our Extended Day teachers encourage imagination, creativity, and expression through the arts, science, nature exploration, and more.
Morning care is available at 7:30 a.m. for our Little Dragons–Grade 5.
