Annual Giving
Every student. Every day.
At Glenelg Country School, excellence shows up in the details—during a joyful recess, in the cheers that echo across our gym, and in the spark that lights when a student experiments, builds, and tries something truly new. This year, we are thrilled to introduce a Project-Based Annual Fund, which focuses on four targeted priorities that immediately elevate student life in every division.

Project 1: New Primary and Lower School Playgrounds
Our current playgrounds are aging and no longer fully aligned with the developmental needs of our youngest Dragons. Reimagined, age-appropriate spaces will support gross motor development, social play, creativity, and safe exploration—every single day.

Project 2: Middle School Patio Enhancements
Middle Schoolers thrive when there’s room to gather—for lunch, clubs, advisory, and informal connection. Expanding and refurbishing the back patio creates flexible, comfortable, and safe outdoor space that supports well-being and community.

Project 3: New Gymnasium Bleachers
Our gym is the heart of school spirit—from basketball and volleyball games to pep rallies and all-school gatherings. Permanent, code-compliant bleachers on both sides of the main court will add 350+ seats, improve safety, and enable major events like assemblies and Commencement to feel truly at home.

Innovation moves fast. The STEAM Flexibility Fund ensures GCS can seize new opportunities quickly—from equipment to interdisciplinary pilots—while fully supporting and expanding Destination Imagination, a unique, team-based STEAM competition that has been growing over the past few years.
