Bus Transportation

The cost of bus service is $2250 round-trip for the year ($1750 for a sibling) or $1125 one-way for the year ($900 for a sibling).

Pre-Kindergarten–Grade 12 students may ride the bus. Two- and three-year-olds are not permitted to ride the bus.

Yes, your child can take one route or stop in the morning and another route or stop in the afternoon. Please indicate this on the enrollment form.

Yes, please register your child for drop-in Extended Day ($25 per year plus any per diem charges) so you can use the program when dismissal times differ from the other divisions.

Yes. The first student pays full price and additional siblings are charged 75% of the normal fee.

There will be no bus service on all-school Professional Days. There will be bus service when the Lower School is closed for a Professional or Parent Conference Day and the Middle and Upper Schools have a regular school day. Students must be enrolled in the Extended Day Program, pre-register for each day, and pay the per diem charge to attend full-day care.

The bus will depart campus 30 minutes after all-school early dismissals. If a division has an earlier dismissal time than the others, Lower and Middle School students must pre-register to attend Extended Day at no cost until the normal dismissal time.

Buses will run on a delayed or early dismissal schedule as announced on our website. Please have plan in case you cannot reach the stop on time. Extended Day is also closed if school closes early due to inclement weather.

A schedule will be designed for the last two weeks of the academic year to best accommodate the most students riding the bus. Exams, noon dismissals, and other special events affect those school days.

You will be billed in September and full payment is due by October 15.

Shortly before the beginning of school year, an email with the schedule for each route is sent to families signed up for bus service. In general, the first stop is at around 6:20–7 a.m. and the bus departs campus at 4 p.m.

Lower School students are directed to the correct bus when school is dismissed. A staff member will help students identify the correct bus at the beginning of the school year.

Yes. Please notify the administrative assistant in your child’s division in advance of any change to your child’s afternoon schedule. If using Extended Day, students must be enrolled in the program and need to pre-register for early dismissals and special closings.

No, due to traffic and other factors, a 10-minute window around the scheduled time is considered on time. The bus may arrive or depart from the stop as much as five minutes before or after the scheduled time. You must arrive at the stop at least five minutes before the scheduled time.

No. Students must board the bus shortly after school dismisses. However, for seasonal activities such as Upper School sports, we can provide a credit for the trimester. Please contact the Business Office at least one week in advance.
