Coach Walton Farewell Alumni Lacrosse Game – Canceled

As you may have heard, this season marks Coach Paige Walton’s 24th and final season as head coach of the GCS Girls Lacrosse Program. Over those 24 years, Coach Walton has been a dedicated and compassionate leader and role model in the Dragon community as both a Lower School teacher and a Middle and Upper School Head Coach for multiple teams.

As Head Coach, Paige led the Girls’ Lacrosse program with heart and determination, guiding the team to a Championship in both the C and B Conferences of the IAAM. In 2022, Coach Walton led the Dragons to a historic season that included a #1 national ranking, the #1 seed in the IAAM tournament, and a spot in the IAAM A Conference Championship game, all for the first time in program history. The Girls Lacrosse team ended the 2022 season as the #3 ranked team in the nation. 

What better way to celebrate Coach Walton and the GCS Girls Lacrosse program than one last competition in Dragon Stadium! Dust off your sticks and join a friendly competition against the Varsity Lacrosse team on Saturday, May 13 at 1:00 PM. Following the game, mingle with Coach Walton and fellow alumni while enjoying a lite fare in the Dragons Press Box.
