Glenelg Country School (GCS) is an independent day school serving students age 2 – grade 12. Our mission is to cultivate a diverse community of learners who discover, contribute, thrive, and excel. These principles serve as a foundation for all we do.
The school seeks an Upper School math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teaching assignment will include several sections of math at multiple levels in grades 9-12 in a department noted for its vigorous instruction and collaborative culture. The successful candidate will bring to GCS a love of working with adolescents, a skills-based approach to teaching, and a desire to play a significant role in the life of a school in and out of the classroom. The ability to explore interdisciplinary activities and offer trimester or full-year courses outside the core curriculum will be an important advantage. Comfort teaching a wide range of learners and integrating digital technologies to enhance the classroom experience are essential.
