Shark Fashion Show
Second-grade students build background knowledge and learn the concepts and vocabulary associated with sharks. Working in partners, the children research a chosen shark, take their written work through the writing process, paint shark heads, create fact vests, and perform dance moves and poses to music in a runway show.
