The Glenelg Country School Alumni Association presents the first annual GCS Pickleball Social on Saturday, March 29. Whether you are a seasoned pro, new to the game, or looking to socialize, everyone is invited to join the fun and camaraderie with family and friends.

   

This inclusive event designed for all experience levels promises a day filled with friendly competition and community spirit. Grab your partner and paddle and join this exciting kickoff event. The event combines learning the game of pickleball, free play, and an opportunity to compete in an elimination tournament. If you are new to pickleball, you will not want to miss a professional’s in-person instruction before the free play and tournament!

   

Even if pickleball isn’t your game, please join us for an afternoon of socializing and fun.

FORMAT

Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles. At least one member of a tournament team must be over 15 years old.

 

TICKETS

$120 Team 

$60 Individual Adult

$40 Individual Youth

$30 non-playing social ticket

 

•All tickets include lunch!

•If registering a team that includes a player 14 years old or younger, please register as individuals.

•If registering as an individual, please provide your partner’s name or we will assume that a partner assignment is needed.

•Those who do not have a partner will receive one based on skill level.

Proceeds from the event support the Always a Dragon Award scholarship. The Always a Dragon Award, established in 2011 by the Glenelg Country School Alumni Association, is presented annually to a GCS rising freshman and graduating senior who demonstrates outstanding leadership abilities both at school and in the community.
