Summer in the Country (SITC) at Glenelg Country School offers a wide range of engaging camps for Pre-K through 8th-grade students. Campers enjoy experiences in academics, arts, STEM, athletics, leadership, and more while building creativity, confidence, and collaboration. Our programs provide a safe, fun, and structured environment that fosters learning, exploration, and lasting friendships.

Compensation:
- Lifeguards: $16.75–$25/hour (based on experience and certifications)
Minimum Age Requirement:
All staff must be 16 years of age or older to work at Summer in the Country.
Camp Positions:
- Lifeguard
Weeks: Memorial Day through Labor Day (May 25 – September 2, 2026)
Supervise swimming activities and ensure safety in the pool area. Conduct routine safety checks, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and assist with other outdoor camp activities. Teach swim lessons as directed.
Qualifications (All Positions):
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Experience with the relevant age group
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
- Background in education, arts, STEM, theater, or relevant specialty preferred
- Lifeguards: Will Reimburse certification after two weeks of work
