Status for Tuesday, October 4, 2022

 

We are aware of a lockdown situation at River Hill High School and Clarksville Elementary School. Since there is no word of a suspect at large and there is a significant police presence there, we are monitoring the situation closely and are not currently in a lockdown at GCS. The situation in River Hill may impact traffic. For those traveling to GCS this afternoon, please consider avoiding the Route 108 corridor around River Hill High School. Alternate routes including Ten Oaks Road, Triadelphia Road, and Homewood Road may provide better access to Folly Quarter Road.
