Dragon Elite Girls Lacrosse
Week 2 June 22 – June 26, 2026; Week 4 July 6- 10, 2026; Week 5 July 13-17, 2026

Tuition: $400 per one-week session
Dragon Elite Girls Lacrosse is a high-energy, all-encompassing camp designed for players entering 1st–8th grade. Led by Division I elite college athletes, high-level collegiate players, and experienced high school coaches, campers will receive top-tier instruction tailored to both beginners and more advanced athletes. Older participants will also have opportunities to focus on position-specific skill development.
Throughout the week, campers will take part in a variety of activities, including warm-ups, high-IQ lacrosse drills, skill-building stations, age-based small-sided scrimmages, agility and speed games, and daily pool time. The camp aims to host 50 participants and provides a fun, challenging, and supportive environment for all players to grow their skills and confidence.
Coach Shaylan Ahearn is a highly decorated alumni of the Maryland women’s lacrosse program. During her collegiate career, she earned numerous honors including IWLCA and USA Lacrosse All-American recognition, was named Big Ten Midfielder of the Year, and became a four-time All-Big Ten honoree with two First Team selections. She was also recognized for her academic excellence as a member of the Academic All-Big Ten team, and post-graduate scholarship awardee during her 5th year.
Throughout her time at Maryland, Shaylan helped guide the team to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, highlighted by a trip to the NCAA Semifinals in 2022 and a Quarterfinal appearance in 2024. She finished her career with 432 draw controls, ranking second all-time in program history.
She graduated from the University of Maryland with dual degrees in Psychology and Communications and has since received her CPT certification for personal training and is working towards a master’s in sports psychology that will be completed in 2026 fall. Shaylan now serves as the Athletic Outreach Coordinator and Associate Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Glenelg Country School, where she graduated from in 2019 after transitioning the GCS program from the B to the A conference in the IAAM.
