Outdoor Surprises For Little Dragons

Danielle Peterson

Students from the entire Little Dragons three-year-old program were able to come together for the first time this school year to learn about nature and gardening. Taking inspiration from our natural campus, Little Dragons learned about planting by making pizza gardens. They created Zen gardens using sand, leaves, sticks, and other objects outside the Primary Building and collected flowers and other plants to design flower bracelets. The day culminated with the three-year-olds meeting for the first time, GCS’s own Dragon. The Dragon’s special visit included singing and dancing with students before lunch.
