For over a decade, Charlie Stewart and Paige Walton have been offering exciting and innovative summer sport camps for boys and girls. This year, they are offering a wide variety of choices for kids of all ages. Don’t miss out on these opportunities! Campers should bring their own equipment if they have it.

Head Coach Bios

 

Coach Stewart is a graduate of Centennial High School and the University of Pennsylvania and served as the head coach of the GCS varsity boys basketball program for 11 seasons. Coach Stewart led the Dragons to the first MIAA basketball championship in school history during the 2006–2007 season. He teaches eighth grade U.S. History at GCS and has been running exciting summer camps for more than a decade.

 

Coach Walton is the current GCS girls varsity lacrosse coach and the current Middle School soccer coach. Coach Walton played both lacrosse and soccer at Centennial High School and Randolph-Macon College. The GCS lacrosse team has won three conference championships with Walton as coach. She received Coach of the Year honors in 2002 and 2017. Coach Walton is also a first-grade teacher in the GCS Lower School.

 

Coach Silvestri is a graduate of Loyola High School and Frostburg State University, and has served as a varsity, junior varsity, and Middle School coach at GCS. In his more than two decades at GCS, Coach Silvestri has guided girls soccer, girls tennis, boys basketball, boys baseball, and boys soccer teams. He teaches eighth grade Earth Science at GCS and has been a part of the Top Notch staff for more than a decade.
