Entering Grades K – 1: Week 1 (June 15 – 19, 2026) (No camp on Friday June 19, 2026), Week 2 (June 22-June 26, 2026), Week 3 (June 29 – July 3, 2026) (No camp Friday, July 3), Week 4 (July 6-10, 2024)
Tuition: $400 per one-week session
“Top Notch” Sports Camp offers a wide variety of traditional and innovative games, skills, and fun contests. Sports included in the daily schedule are soccer, kickball, dodge ball and many more. The talented staff of coaches explains the rules of each of the games and makes sure that every child is an active participant! Campers have an opportunity to choose their favorite activity during the “pick and play” time each day. This is a camp that you don’t want to miss!
Coach Charlie Stewart is a graduate of Centennial High School and the University of Pennsylvania and served as the head coach of the GCS Varsity Boys Basketball program for eleven seasons. Coach Stewart led the Dragons to the first MIAA Basketball Championship in school history during the 2006 – 2007 season. He teaches 8th Grade U.S. History at GCS and has been running exciting summer camps for more than two decades.
Coach Paige Walton is a graduate of Centennial High School and Randolph-Macon College. She coached the Glenelg Country School Girl’s Lacrosse team for 24 seasons, winning multiple IAAM Championships. Coach Walton taught first grade at GCS and has been running sports camps for more than two decades.
Coach Jim Silvestri is a graduate of Loyola High School and Frostburg State University and has served as a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School Coach at GCS. In his more than two decades at GCS, Coach Silvestri has guided girls soccer, girls tennis, boys basketball, boys baseball, and boys soccer teams. He teaches 8th grade Earth Science at GCS and has been a part of the Top Notch staff for more than a decade.
